It’s that time of year again to look at where you are at and how you are doing at the midway point in the year.  I would like to offer you a little guide full of questions that you can ask yourself to assess where you have been and where you are going.  The spirit of this reflecting, assessing and planning is not to beat yourself up or judge yourself in any way.  Giving yourself the gift of doing this work is something that you should be congratulating yourself for.  It is another great time to re-confirm and make new plans.  Are you ready?

What are you most proud of yourself for in the first half of the year?

What were your goals for the first half of the year?  Get them out and review them thoroughly.

-Where are you at with each on a scale from 1-10?

-Which are still important

-Which do you want to drop?

-If you scored yourself at less than a 10 on any goal that is still important to you, what would make it a 10?

-Now, given what will make each one a 10, what do you have to do (exact steps you need to take) to make it a 10?

-When you reach each goal, how does it serve you?  What in your life will be better because you reached your goal?

One of the most important things you can do in the second half of the year is to review your goals at both the start and finish of each day.  First thing upon arising, take a few minutes to review your overall goals and your goals for the month, week and day.  This is the foundation of your day and gets you and mind set in the right direction.  Review again right before bed and gain the advantage of putting your subconscious mind on the job while you sleep!  These activities are FREE, but PRICELESS!

What else do you know you need to do more of in the second half of the year to reach your goals?

What do you need to do less of?

Remember, you can have anything you want if you are willing to do what it takes.  Reflecting, learning, growing, and planning are essential activities for you to reach your goals.  You have to ask yourself “am I willing to do what it takes?.”  Start to study and spend time with others who have done what you want to do.

Carve out a few hours in your schedule before the end of this month to really get these questions answered for yourself and look forward to having the most successful year of your life!  Have fun, enjoy and prosper!
