I’ll be doing my Christmas wrapping in my traditional way while watching Christmas with the Kranks soon. That’s one way to wrap things up, but you knew I wasn’t referring to literal wrapping paper. No, I am not talking about getting cozy, wrapped in a blanket either- though that does also sound good.
Wrapping things up at this time of year, especially, can be like taking a nice, deep breath. What is good enough, what can be done once and for all, what conversation needs to be had, and when is enough, enough?
Get out your pen and paper and start writing.
All of these things (and more) require you to trust yourself and possibly others, as well. What is getting in your way? What stories have you been telling yourself and what new story would serve you better right now?
Every wrapped up something is a new beginning for something else. What is possible on the other side of a wrap up for you? Get clear about it. Write it down.
You can wrap up a filming, eat a wrap (sandwich) and warm yourself with a cashmere wrap. One of the best wraps, though, is the one where you hug or get a hug with arms wrapped around someone. Hug yourself, your people, your pets. And especially give yourself a big holiday hug from me. Thank you for reading. I am wishing you all the best as we wrap up another year.
