Devotion.

Back in January I picked themes for each month of the year. Words that sounded good to me, that I wanted to explore further the meaning of them in my life.

I always like looking at the definitions of words as a place to start.

Devotion:

love, loyalty, or enthusiasm for a person, activity, or cause.

When was the last time you thought about the word devotion and it’s meaning in your life?

When you think about the definitions of devotion, it is pretty easy to see the connection to a meaningful life.

Take a few moments to think about your answers to these questions- even better handwrite your answers for that handwriting/brain connection that expands everything. (Keep the definitions in mind as you answer)

  1. Who and what are you devoted to in your life?  Make a list.
  2. What project are you most devoted to at this time?
  3. Where does your devotion support you in leading a beautiful life?
  4. Where does your devotion hurt you? Are you devoted to something that is not enhancing your life?
  5. What would you like to show more devotion to where it has been lacking?

After answering these questions take a moment to pick one thing out of all that you wrote that you would like to work on and write your first three steps you will take to move it forward.  Make the first step something you will do today.

Feel free to share in the comments what you are working on for support, encouragement and that very important accountability!
