I read this quote this week- posted by Positively Present on Instagram-

“If everything felt good all the time, nothing would ever feel good.”

It really struck me, and I have thought about this many times before- it reminds me to embrace the texture, the what we call downs, as well as the ups in life. If things always felt good we would lose that feeling after awhile because we would have nothing to compare it to.

So rejoice in those challenges- try it this week. We can’t feel good all of the time- it isn’t the way being human works. We can get close by asking ourselves great questions, though.

My current favorite question is “What opportunity does this challenge present?” It puts me in a whole different frame of mind the second I ask it. I am no longer stuck on the challenge, but have moved on to possibility. A much more enjoyable state.
