This is something I have heard time and time again, you may have heard it, too. Not only have I heard it, I have seen it play out in my life and in the lives of those around me.

Where attention goes, energy flows.

What that means to me is that whatever I am paying the most attention to, energy goes in that direction and creates more of whatever I am paying attention to.

I can create more of a good thing, or more of what I do not want. It all depends upon what I am giving my energy to.

If you read last week’s post on questions that can lead to a great day. If you read those questions and have been asking yourself those questions each day then you may already be experiencing the effects of this principle in a positive way.

In the next week- watch what you are paying attention to and what is happening in your life. No judgement of yourself if you are not noticing what you want to see. It is all learning. The great thing is that this falls under the category of what you can control. When you start to notice what you are doing to get the results and experience you do not want, you can change your thoughts and actions, your attention to flow your energy in the direction of what you do want.

Think of it as an experiment. I encourage to take notes so that you can measure your progress and results.

You can use last week’s questions as a way to do your experimenting or just notice the things you are paying attention to. Be kind to yourself in the process.

Oh and here’s another thought to work with over the next week:

Let me know what you are noticing. We will continue to see how to create what you want in your life next week!
