The 100 Day Challenge, Day 57:

If you ever have a chance to see Spamalot-  the Broadway show, or touring version of it, GO!!  I really advocate laughing as an important part of daily life and this show will prompt you to laugh for over 2 hours!  Just fun, silly humor- the kind I like best.

My favorite song in the show is “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”- a mindset I strive to adopt each day.  In the show King Arthur is depressed and his sidekick Patsy sings this song to him- complete with whistling- and finally gets him singing it, too.  Once King Arthur gets into this mindset, something miraculous happens, they find a shrubbery where he previously believed it would be impossible.  (You have to see the show to really understand just how funny the whole thing about the shrubbery is!)  It is just another portrayal of how getting your mindset into the right place, helps to produce results that are not possible otherwise.

Today I suggest:

1. Find this song and listen to it!

2.  Look at the bright side of something that you have previously only been seeing the negative in.  Create some hope in an area where it seems none is possible.

3.  Whistle.  (It’s hard to be real unhappy or negative while you whistle.)

4.  Find something to laugh about and LAUGH like crazy!
