One of the most important determinants of a good, beautiful life is how you think about things. Does your view, the focus of your thoughts, the quality of your thoughts enhance your life, or subtract from it?
If we think something that happens is “bad”, it is. If we consider that it could be “good” that consideration will cause you notice what is “good” about the something. It could be a situation, a person, a thing, etc.
As I have written about many times, I believe that taking a pause to think is very important. When you pause you have the opportunity to see if what you are thinking really makes sense, is really what you think- not what someone else taught you or told you you should think- you can really consider that maybe there is something valuable for you in those things that you consider “bad” and you might realize something you call “good” is not entirely to your benefit.
It is crucial for you to pause to realize these things.
In some cases we will have to work to change our thought patterns. You can do this no matter what, it will take a little time, but thankfully not likely as long as you have held the belief you are wanting to shift!
Think about times in your past where you thought something was bad and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise? Or you were thinking something was really good, and it turned out not to be.
For the next few weeks, practice with being more neutral. Maybe it is good, maybe not. Work with what you know and don’t be swayed around so much. Use your energy to stick to your path and make progress toward what you want in your life. Your good and beautiful life.
